Abstract

This study discusses the relevance of Specialized Educational Assistance (SEA) combined with assistive technologies as instruments of pedagogical innovation aimed at promoting personalized and inclusive learning. The objective of the research was to analyze how technological resources and adapted pedagogical practices contribute to the cognitive, social, and educational development of students who are the target audience of special education. The methodology adopted is characterized as a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach, based on authors such as Maria Teresa Eglér Mantoan, Lev Vygotsky, and José Manuel Moran, in addition to legal documents related to inclusive education in Brazil. The results show that the use of assistive technologies within the SEA context promotes autonomy, communication, accessibility, and active student participation in the teaching-learning process. Furthermore, innovative pedagogical practices enhance personalized learning by respecting the specificities and individual needs of students. It is concluded that the integration between SEA and assistive technologies represents a significant advancement in the implementation of inclusive education, contributing to the construction of more accessible, democratic, and equitable educational environments.
