EDUCATION AND HEALTH AS INTERDEPENDENT RIGHTS: PATHWAYS TO AN INCLUSIVE AND HUMANIZED SCHOOL

The articulation between education and health constitutes a structuring axis for understanding the social dynamics that permeate school environments, particularly in contexts marked by inequality. This study aims to analyze the interdependence between these two fundamental rights and their implications for the construction of inclusive and humanized pedagogical practices in Brazilian public schools. It is a qualitative research with a bibliographic approach, grounded in critical education, public health, and public policy frameworks. The analysis reveals that teaching and learning processes are directly influenced by students' living conditions, requiring the overcoming of fragmented approaches and the adoption of intersectoral strategies. It is concluded that the integration between education and health strengthens the promotion of integral development, while reaffirming the centrality of care, equity, and human dignity within the educational process.
