This article discusses the school as a privileged space for citizenship education, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary projects in Elementary Education. Based on theoretical and practical approaches, three main axes are analyzed: environmental and sustainability projects, projects focused on human rights and diversity, and community participation and student protagonism. It is evident that such initiatives contribute to the integral formation of students, promoting democratic values, critical awareness, and social engagement. In this context, interdisciplinarity is not only a pedagogical strategy but also an essential practice to consolidate the school as a space of citizenship and social transformation.
