This study analyzes the importance of the family in school education, considering its role as a fundamental formative instance in the integral development of individuals. It is based on the understanding that learning is not limited to the school environment, but is constructed through the interaction of different contexts, especially within the family. The research highlights that active family participation significantly contributes to academic performance, student engagement, and school retention, while also addressing the challenges that permeate this relationship, such as social inequalities, communication gaps, and institutional limitations. The analysis reaffirms the need to strengthen the partnership between family and school through dialogical, inclusive, and contextualized practices that recognize the diversity of family arrangements and their knowledge. It concludes that effective integration between these spaces is essential for building a more equitable, meaningful, and socially grounded education.
