BULLYING IN THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT AND ITS IMPACTS ON LEARNING

The main objective of this article is to investigate the impact of bullying in the school environment and its consequences on learning, seeking to understand the magnitude of the problem and propose intervention strategies. The specific objectives are: to establish a theoretical basis that aims to discuss the advancement of bullying in the school environment; to study the concepts applied by some authors who base their works on bullying; and to seek solutions to combat and prevent bullying practices in schools and in society. This article used a bibliographic approach in books, articles from scientific journals, and periodicals. A bibliographic survey was carried out to review the literature on school bullying. As a result, the research deduced that Law 14.811/2024 instituted measures to protect children and adolescents against violence in educational establishments or similar institutions against discriminatory practices by certain young people or even children.
