Abstract

This study aims to explore the contributions of technology-assisted pedagogical practices in Art education and to understand their impact on artistic production and reception. The research adopts a bibliographic approach, analyzing works by several authors and their reflections on the relationship between art and technology, including Manovich, Negroponte, and Haraway, among others. The findings indicate that contemporary art has been profoundly influenced by technological advances, promoting new possibilities for expression, interaction, and creative processes. One of the main consequences of this phenomenon is the democratization of access to artistic production and appreciation. However, alongside these opportunities, significant challenges emerge, including ethical, political, and epistemological issues, such as technological obsolescence and the commodification of art. In light of these challenges, the study highlights the importance of fostering an inclusive digital culture through critical and reflective approaches to the use of technology in contemporary art. Working with technology in Art education underscores the need to rethink concepts of art, technology, and society, seeking new ways of thinking, creating, and living in an increasingly technological and interconnected world.
