EDUCATION AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: NEW PATHS FOR TEACHING

This article examines the impact of artificial intelligence on contemporary education, highlighting its contributions to personalized learning, teacher support, inclusion and equity, as well as ethical and regulatory challenges. The analysis considers recent documents from the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC, 2026) and UNESCO (2025), which emphasize the need for responsible public policies and continuous teacher training to ensure that AI is applied ethically and inclusively. The conclusion suggests that technology should be regarded as an ally of the pedagogical process, strengthening the social mission of schools and expanding learning opportunities.
