The present work has as objective to approach the teaching of chemical science through the Web, as well as to explain how the technological tools contribute in the teaching / learning process of the EAD student. Seeking also to make a general analysis about the process of innovation in the act of educating, the availability of materials for distance study and the feasibility of distance learning and its reach in relation to students who need to reconcile the availability of time and place to conclude higher education. At first, a general approach will be made on the use of the Web in higher education presented the academic interests, their structure, functions and attributions, emphasizing, as well as how this learning mode can interfere and contribute in the organizational and pedagogical aspects of the institution. In a second moment, we will approach the Web as a facilitating and opportunistic means of teaching, as well as the difficulties and facilities found by students in the use of these technological teaching powers. In a third stage, an analysis will be made of the scope of distance learning, the availability of chemistry materials for study, the teacher / student relationship in the EAD field, presenting the effective application of distance learning through the Web and demonstrating that a full academic learning of science, specifically chemistry, is possible. Finally, it was made explicit how important the use of the Web for the academic development, learning and viability of EAD students in the chemistry course is.
