ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA À SAÚDE E MPOX NO BRASIL: VIGILÂNCIA, CUIDADO TERRITORIAL E DESAFIOS PARA A RESPOSTA DO SUS

Objetivo: discutir criticamente o papel da Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) no enfrentamento da mpox no Brasil, reunindo evidências sobre vigilância, diagnóstico precoce, manejo clínico, isolamento, educação em saúde, capacitação profissional e lacunas para a resposta do Sistema Único de Saúde. Metodologia: capítulo construído a partir de revisão de escopo de natureza exploratória, elaborada segundo as orientações do Joanna Briggs Institute e organizada conforme o PRISMA-ScR, com busca em bases nacionais e internacionais e em literatura cinzenta, totalizando 1.000 registros identificados e 80 estudos e documentos incluídos na síntese qualitativa. Resultados: a literatura indica que a APS pode desempenhar funções decisivas na detecção precoce, triagem, notificação, orientação de isolamento, cuidado ambulatorial de casos leves, educação em saúde e coordenação com outros pontos da rede; contudo, persistem limitações relacionadas ao acesso ao diagnóstico molecular, à ausência de protocolos específicos para APS, ao estigma, às desigualdades territoriais e ao déficit de treinamento das equipes. Conclusão: a mpox exige incorporação mais explícita aos fluxos da APS brasileira, com fortalecimento da vigilância, da educação permanente, da integração com serviços de referência e do desenvolvimento de protocolos operacionais adaptados ao SUS.
