This work presents a didactic proposal for teaching fractions using the Problem-Solving methodology, developed with 6th-grade students. The experience was inspired by everyday school elements and the cross-cutting theme of the World Cup, integrating concrete materials such as modeling clay, posters, and a math bingo game. The experience, characterized by playful and investigative activities, fostered greater student engagement and promoted the collective construction of mathematical knowledge. Grounded in authors who advocate Problem Solving as a strategy for developing critical and creative thinking, the proposal demonstrates how the teaching of fractions can be redefined through meaningful and challenging contexts.
