The transformations driven by digital culture have significantly impacted educational processes, requiring new ways of understanding teaching, learning, and knowledge construction. In this context, technology has assumed a strategic role in pedagogical practices, influencing teaching organization, interaction dynamics, and opportunities for access to information. This study aims to analyze the contributions and challenges associated with the use of technology in contemporary educational settings. It is a qualitative bibliographic study based on the analysis of scientific literature, normative documents, and academic publications related to the topic. The findings indicate that technological resources contribute to more participatory teaching methodologies, expand learning opportunities, strengthen student autonomy, and support inclusive educational practices. However, challenges related to digital exclusion, technological infrastructure, and continuing teacher education remain significant barriers. The study concludes that the educational potential of technology depends on its critical, ethical, and pedagogically planned integration into teaching and learning processes, ensuring meaningful and equitable educational experiences.
