MULTIDIMENSIONAL ACCESSIBILITY IN PUBLIC SERVICE EXAMINATIONS: FROM LINGUISTIC AMBIGUITY IN BRAZILIAN SIGN LANGUAGE (LIBRAS) TO BIOMETRIC REGRESSION IN THE PHYSICAL APTITUDE TEST (TAF)

This study analyzes the ethical and technical limits of the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) Translator and Interpreter (TILS) when faced with mathematical statements that present technical flaws in public examinations. The research investigates how ambiguity in concepts and the lack of essential elements in mathematics questions compromise accurate translation, violating the Brazilian Inclusion Law (Law No. 13.146/2015) and Decree No. 5.626/2005. The theoretical framework relates the scientific rigor criteria required by reference institutions to the neuropsychology of executive functions in ADHD (Barkley, 2002), the obstacles of linguistic mediation in STEM disciplines (Correa; Góes; Góes, 2018), and the linguistic rights of the deaf community. It was found that the lack of clarity in the Portuguese language statement causes a "cascade of errors" in Libras, creating a methodological obstacle that can be challenged judicially through STF Theme 485.
