ANALYSIS OF DIFFICULTIES IN THE CHEMISTRY TEACHING–LEARNING PROCESS IN REMOTE CLASSES

Abstract

Due to the pandemic caused by COVID -19 and in order to reduce the number of cases of the disease. There was a need to carry out social isolations. And with that, the education system had to adapt to the new reality found in education. In this way, teaching, which until recently was face-to-face, became remote. Where the characteristics of work were very different from the traditional environment, as the school, teachers, students and the entire school environment were affected by collective distancing. Even with the new teaching platforms, chemistry teachers were not yet used to this type of instruction, chemistry through its concepts, structures and methods, already differs from other disciplines and having to teach at a distance created a great challenge for teachers with regard to teaching and student learning. In this context, this work aims to clarify some questions about the teaching difficulties of learning chemistry in the remote form. Analyzing the obstacles encountered by teachers during distance learning. Where teachers find barriers in the way of teaching, in an education that was no longer the best. For this, an online questionnaire was developed, developed by (surveymonket), and was based on 10 questions that address issues related to the characteristics and adversities of teachers to teach at a distance. This questionnaire was made available on social media and was exclusively dedicated to teachers of chemistry or related fields. Therefore, the study through the results.
