Abstract

This paper proposes an integrated framework bridging Landscape Architecture and Urban Design II for the reality of Luanda, presenting original physico-mathematical models, locally applicable parameters, and solved calculations that demonstrate how predictive modelling improves decisions on drainage, thermal comfort, pedestrian mobility, and cost-benefit of green infrastructure. The consequences of minimal measurement/modelling errors (uncertainty propagation) and their impact on construction works and public policies are also discussed.
