The clinical case report concerning a female patient, fourteen (14) years of age, elementary school student and single. Born in the city of Pedro Afonso - TO, resident in the city of Rio Sono - TO, the patient is being monitored by the multidisciplinary team at the Family Health Unit of Rio Sono. When affected by the diagnostic hypothesis of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), the patient continues under monitoring and her current progression occurred through a diagnosis, in addition to psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological intervention. Between the years two thousand and twenty-two (2022) and two thousand and twenty-three (2023), the patient was diagnosed with several mental disorders, with pharmacological therapy that presented flaws in the combination of drugs, contributing to and causing harm to the patient's mental health, highlighting the importance of the multidisciplinary team's action focused not only on pharmacological treatment, but also seeking a combination of measures aimed at improving the patient's quality of life.
