WOMEN, VIOLENCE AND SOCIAL EXCLUSION: ECHOES OF THE PAST

This text was developed to discuss the elements that trigger the social and material exclusion of women in contemporary society, resulting in difficult survival situations and significant compromises in the subjective aspects of the target audience. In this sense, a theoretical study on the topic and an analysis of the film *Until the Last Drop* were conducted due to its focus on the proposed theme. It was possible to infer that works like this are vital for problematizing the proposed theme and, as such, are relevant to the context of exclusion and violence to which these audiences are subjected, demonstrating the film's correspondence to the reality affecting many women today.
