STORYTELLING AS A THERAPEUTIC RESOURCE IN PSYCHOPEDAGOGICAL CARE

The enchantment of storytelling awakens a magical world in which the child instigates a surreal world that develops a passion for reading, in addition to providing an affective bond with the psychopedagogue. This article will list the contribution of storytelling in psychopedagogical care in clinics and schools, broadly opening the psychopedagogue's vision in the various possibilities of insertion of this pedagogical resource in its care. Storytelling is one of the oldest methods used and the child through it develops several aspects, linking the affectivity, its emotions to a playful and meaningful learning. We will address the relevance of this resource by reflecting on interactions with reading from infancy, enhancing the role of psychopedagogues in finding ways to realize storytelling as a valid resource in their therapy. We will present methodologies that contribute to this type of work, since the subject is little analyzed in the psychopedagogical area.
