The digital society has profoundly transformed teaching and learning processes, requiring teacher training to be continuously rethought and innovated. Teachers, once seen as mere transmitters of content, now take on the role of mediators and information curators, integrating digital technologies in a critical, creative, and ethical way. This article discusses the importance of digital competencies, continuous training, and active methodologies as central elements to prepare educators for the demands of the digital era. Furthermore, it highlights the relevance of public policies and collaborative practices in consolidating an inclusive education aligned with contemporary challenges.
