HOMEOPATHY IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PERDIGÃO (MG): A PIONEERING EXPERIENCE IN HEALTH CARE

This article presents the pioneering experience of the municipality of Perdigão, located in the Midwest of Minas Gerais, which was the first city in the region to implement Homeopathy services in the public health system. The study is based on the treatments carried out by the author, a homeopathy therapist, over two years, during which various pathologies were treated. The work highlights Homeopathy’s differential approach of addressing the root causes of diseases rather than merely their symptoms, reinforcing its relevance as an integrative and complementary practice within Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS).
