NARRATIVES OF FEMALE LEADERSHIP IN LATIN AMERICAN DIGITAL MEDIA: AN ANALYSIS FROM THE PSYCHODYNAMICS OF FEMALE WORK AND EMANCIPATORY PERSPECTIVES

This study analyzed narratives about female leadership in Latin American online media, exploring their impact on the psychodynamics of women's work and their emancipatory potential. The exploratory and descriptive research used thematic category analysis on 71 articles published in 2024. The results reveal two narrative trends: adaptation (business/career media), which individualizes barriers and can intensify psychological suffering, and transformation (alternative media), which contextualizes suffering, promoting pleasure at work. The predominance of adaptation narratives highlights challenges for emancipation, while the presence of transformation narratives points to paths toward dialogical communication. It is concluded that the media actively shape the psychodynamics of women's work, potentially reinforcing oppressive structures or promoting emancipatory transformations.
