LITERACY CHALLENGES IN THE AGE OF SCREENS: BETWEEN METHODS AND MEDIATIONS

This article analyzes the most effective strategies and methods for children's literacy in the contemporary context marked by excessive screen use. Through a literature review and analysis of recent empirical studies, it seeks to understand the impacts of prolonged exposure to digital technologies on the processes of reading and writing acquisition. The research highlights the need for a balance between traditional practices and technologically mediated resources, emphasizing the teacher’s role in curating and mediating digital interactions.
