CONSTITUTIONAL LAW AS A TOOL AGAINST DISINFORMATION, DISHONESTY, AND INHUMANITY IN THE CONTEXT OF BASIC EDUCATION

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how Constitutional Law can serve as an effective tool to combat disinformation, intellectual dishonesty, and inhumanity within the context of basic education.The methodology involved a bibliographic review of constitutional principles applied to education and an analysis of public policies that promote the ethical and critical development of students. The results indicate that education grounded in constitutional rights not only ensures equality of opportunities but also fosters media competencies and critical literacy, which are essential for students to become conscious and engaged citizens. Furthermore, the research revealed that respect for human dignity and the promotion of empathy are fundamental to preventing inhumanity in school relationships. I conclude that the implementation of educational policies incorporating constitutional principles is crucial for creating an ethical, respectful, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
