Abstract

This project is a measure that seeks, together with the participants, regular classroom teachers, special education professionals, the Apoie team, and school management, to build paths toward a more welcoming school. It aims to foster respectful coexistence with differences, viewing them as opportunities to enrich life through the exchange of experiences, in addition to producing learning. This makes it possible to develop socio-emotional skills that are essential for community life, as well as to contribute to students’ permanence in school. When students feel welcomed, respected, and understood, it is expected that the school environment becomes more attractive. This proposal is divided into three stages: observation of conflicts, formation of the group responsible for the action, selection of participants, training of participants to act as "Angels of Cel," and monitoring of their work in promoting a culture of peace and combating bullying within the school.
