Literature, as a cultural and historical manifestation, plays a fundamental role in the critical development of individuals. This study analyzes the integration of digital technologies into literature teaching, with an emphasis on how digital platforms, social media, videos, and podcasts can enhance reading, expand access, and diversify pedagogical practices. The research adopts a theoretical-bibliographical approach and is based on authors such as Foucault, Jauss, Wellek, Warren and Pereira, articulating a critical reading of the trajectory of literary teaching. By revisiting the historical and epistemological changes that have impacted the teaching of literature, it becomes clear that the conscious adoption of digital technologies can strengthen the bond between students and literary reading, as long as it is combined with intentional and inclusive pedagogical mediations. Literature thus ceases to be merely an instrument for transmitting normative values and becomes a field of symbolic dispute, formation of subjectivities and cultural resistance.
