Inclusion and diversity in the school context have gained prominence in contemporary educational discussions, especially due to the need to ensure democratic, accessible, and humanized education. This study aims to analyze the challenges and perspectives of inclusive education in contemporary schools, considering aspects related to students with specific educational needs, as well as issues linked to cultural, social, and ethnic diversity. The research is characterized as bibliographic and qualitative, based on books, scientific articles, official documents, and educational legislation. The study addresses topics such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disability, ADHD, deafness, blindness, bullying, and anti-racist education, emphasizing the importance of inclusive pedagogical practices and continuing teacher education. Furthermore, it discusses the need to build welcoming, accessible school environments committed to respecting differences. It is concluded that the effectiveness of school inclusion depends on the collective involvement of schools, families, education professionals, and society, aiming to ensure equal opportunities and appreciation of diversity in the educational process.
