This article analyzes the song 'Terço dos Homens – Centro-Oeste de Minas Gerais', composed by Alessandro Carvalho de Sousa, as a cultural and religious expression of the Catholic faith experienced by Men's Rosary groups in the Midwest region of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The composition was created at the request of Father Hermínio Carlos Geovanine Marson, priest of the Diocese of Divinópolis. The study adopts a qualitative and interpretative approach based on symbolic analysis of the lyrics and the context of Catholic popular religiosity.
