BASIC EDUCATION AND SPECIAL EDUCATION: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS FOR SCHOOL INCLUSION IN BRAZIL

This research aims to analyze the interrelationship between Basic Education and Special Education in the Brazilian context, focusing on the challenges and inclusive pedagogical practices. School inclusion represents a fundamental right guaranteed by Brazilian legislation and, at the same time, an urgent demand for structural and attitudinal changes in schools. The methodology used is based on a bibliographical review with a qualitative approach. The results point to the need for continuing training for education professionals, curricular adjustments and pedagogical resources to make truly inclusive education a reality.
