This report describes a physiotherapy outreach project involving a 22-year-old patient clinically diagnosed with low back pain, conducted at a physiotherapy clinic in the municipality of Santa Inês, Maranhão (MA). The project focused on monitoring the patient through the stages of assessment, ozone therapy intervention, postural and educational guidance, muscle strengthening, and planning for the final phase. The initial assessment identified episodes of low back pain during daily activities, functional limitations, and a moderate impact on perceived quality of life. During the monitoring period, the patient reported an approximately 50% reduction in the frequency and intensity of pain, as well as a positive perception of the treatment and increased confidence in performing daily activities. Only mild tenderness at the application site was reported, with no serious adverse effects recorded. However, the monitoring was interrupted before the completion of the final planned stage due to the patient's health issues. The findings describe the progress observed in an individual case and, therefore, do not allow for generalizations regarding the efficacy or safety of ozone therapy. The experience helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice, highlighting the importance of individualized care and evidence-based physiotherapy.
