This study aims to analyze the main trends in science education in the digital age, discussing their impacts on learning, pedagogical practices, and student development. This qualitative study was conducted through a literature review based on books, scientific articles, and official documents published primarily between 2020 and 2025. The literature analysis indicates that the integration of digital technologies, active methodologies, and scientific literacy promotes more meaningful, collaborative, and contextualized learning experiences. However, challenges persist regarding teacher training, technological infrastructure, digital inclusion, and the ethical implications arising from the expansion of educational technologies. It is concluded that science education in the digital age requires the reorganization of pedagogical practices grounded in innovation, scientific inquiry, and the critical development of students, enabling them to participate responsibly in the knowledge society.
