This text is one of the prerequisites for approval in the Politics and Society course of the School Management Specialization program at the Federal University of São Carlos. Its objective is to provide support for thinking about politics as a field of power and knowledge and how it permeates all of society, including institutions—such as schools. On the other hand, it is stated here that only the democratic management of the school environment can dispel instincts, cosmic forces, and the powers inherent to the essence of each human being, decisively contributing to the management of the school environment.
