OXIDAÇÃO AERÓBICA DE ÁLCOOIS CATALIZADA POR OURO E PALÁDIO SUPORTADOS EM ÓXIDO DE CÉRIO (CeO2): UMA REVISÃO DE ESCOPO

Resumo

Esta revisão de escopo, conduzida conforme as diretrizes PRISMA-ScR, teve como objetivo mapear evidências sobre o uso de catalisadores de Au, Pd e sistemas Au–Pd suportados em CeO₂ na oxidação aeróbica de álcoois. A questão de pesquisa foi estruturada pelo modelo PCC (População, Conceito e Contexto), e as buscas foram realizadas nas bases Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, ScienceDirect e SpringerLink, considerando o período de 2015 a 2025. Ao todo, 18 estudos foram incluídos. Os resultados indicam que o alto desempenho desses catalisadores decorre da natureza interfacial e multifuncional do sistema metal–suporte, que estabiliza espécies ativas (Auδ+, Pd²⁺) e explora o ciclo redox Ce⁴⁺/Ce³⁺, favorecendo vacâncias de oxigênio essenciais à ativação do O₂. Persistem, porém, lacunas quanto à influência da morfologia e à baixa exploração de álcoois alifáticos, predominando o álcool benzílico como substrato. Os achados reforçam a necessidade de estudos mais amplos e sistemáticos para orientar avanços na área.
