SUPLEMENTAÇÃO DE COMPOSTOS ANTIOXIDANTES EM DIETAS DE MATRIZES DE REPRODUÇÃO AVÍCOLA: UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA

A suplementação de compostos antioxidantes em dietas de matrizes de reprodução avícola tem recebido crescente atenção devido ao seu potencial para minimizar os efeitos do estresse oxidativo e melhorar a eficiência reprodutiva das aves. Este trabalho consiste em uma revisão bibliográfica que teve como objetivo analisar os principais antioxidantes utilizados na nutrição de matrizes avícolas, seus mecanismos de ação e seus efeitos sobre a fertilidade, a incubabilidade e a qualidade da progênie. A metodologia adotada baseou-se na consulta e análise de artigos científicos, livros e documentos técnicos relacionados ao estresse oxidativo, aos sistemas antioxidantes e à reprodução avícola. A literatura demonstra que fatores como envelhecimento, elevada taxa metabólica e estresse térmico favorecem a ocorrência de estresse oxidativo, comprometendo a qualidade dos gametas, dos ovos incubáveis e do desenvolvimento embrionário. Os resultados evidenciam que antioxidantes como vitamina E, selênio, vitamina C, carotenoides e compostos fenólicos atuam na neutralização de espécies reativas de oxigênio, na proteção das membranas celulares e no fortalecimento dos sistemas antioxidantes endógenos. Conclui-se que a utilização desses compostos constitui uma importante estratégia nutricional para preservar a saúde reprodutiva das matrizes, melhorar os índices de fertilidade e incubabilidade e promover a obtenção de progênies mais saudáveis e com maior potencial produtivo.
