Chronic noncommunicable diseases encompass a diverse array of pathological states with non-infectious etiologies, significantly driven by modifiable risk factors and representing a major challenge for public health systems. This study seeks to examine the prevalence of chronic noncommunicable diseases among men and to delineate available prevention and control strategies. An integrative literature review methodology was utilized, focusing on articles from the PubMed database published within the last five years, employing a structured query that combined the following terms: ((((Men’s health) AND (Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases)) OR (Chronic disease prevention)) AND (Lifestyle intervention)) AND (Disease Prevention). The initial search yielded 1,363 articles, of which 25 were selected for inclusion in the analysis. The synthesized findings were categorized into three principal domains: (1) lifestyle modifications and quality of life; (2) health education initiatives and educational campaigns; (3) pharmacological interventions and health management strategies. The results highlight the necessity for prevention and management frameworks that account for gender-specific factors and the sociocultural contexts that influence health behaviors. Lifestyle interventions, when coupled with therapeutic approaches, may exhibit varied efficacy across genders. Furthermore, digital interventions are emerging as promising modalities to enhance outreach and adherence, particularly within primary healthcare settings. Consequently, nursing practice should pivot towards the implementation of tailored interventions that prioritize health education, empowerment, and adherence to treatment regimens. The establishment of male-centric care strategies, alongside the integration of digital tools for ongoing monitoring and support, is advocated, focusing on delivering interventions that resonate with and are sensitive to the cultural realities faced by men.
