The topic under study, "Tourette Syndrome (TS) in the Clinical Context," is a neuropsychiatric condition that frequently begins in childhood and predominantly affects males. It is a disorder marked by considerable psychological and social impairment, with significant impacts on the lives of both patients and their families. Until recently, it was considered a rare disease; however, recent studies indicate that its prevalence may vary between 1% and 2.9% in certain populations. The main objective of this study is to conduct a literature review on the most relevant and clinical aspects related to Tourette Syndrome. It is commonly associated with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The diagnosis of the syndrome is essentially clinical, since to date there are no specific laboratory tests for its confirmation. Treatment is mainly based on psychological therapy.
