This article investigates the socio-educational experience provided by the construction of the "Vale a Pena Ver de Novo" (Worth Seeing Again) mural with students from the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) Literacy program at CETI Pedro Evangelista Caminha, in Geminiano–PI, Brazil. Through a qualitative approach, the study explores how the activity influenced students' perceptions of their life trajectories, the symbolic importance of displaying their photos, and the reinforcement of their sense of belonging, memory, and identity. The theories of Pierre Bourdieu and Zygmunt Bauman are used to analyze the results, revealing the educational, identity-related, social, and emotional impacts of the experience.
