Resumo

A tirzepatida, agonista duplo dos receptores GIP e GLP-1, tem demonstrado elevada eficácia no controle glicêmico e na redução ponderal. Entretanto, efeitos adversos relacionados ao trato biliar e pancreático vêm sendo observados, incluindo litíase vesicular, colecistite e pancreatite aguda. Este artigo analisa criticamente os fatores fisiopatológicos, clínicos e metabólicos associados a essas complicações, destacando riscos, mecanismos prováveis e variáveis predisponentes.
