ABORDAGEM NUTRICIONAL EM OTORRINOLARINGOLOGIA: EVIDÊNCIAS ATUAIS NA PREVENÇÃO E TRATAMENTO

Este estudo aborda a influência da nutrição na saúde otorrinolaringológica, analisando as evidências atuais sobre intervenções dietéticas na prevenção e tratamento das patologias mais comuns da área. O objetivo foi explorar o papel de nutrientes específicos e padrões alimentares na modulação de condições como a perda auditiva e o zumbido. A metodologia seguiu uma revisão narrativa de caráter descritivo e analítico, com levantamento bibliográfico entre 2019 e 2025 em bases como PubMed e SciELO. Os resultados confirmam que o estresse oxidativo é central na patogênese dessas doenças, sendo mitigado por antioxidantes como as vitaminas A, C, E, magnésio e complexo B, que atuam de forma sinérgica. Observou-se que o balanço oxidativo global da dieta (OBS) possui maior relevância clínica do que nutrientes isolados, com dietas saudáveis reduzindo significativamente o risco sensorial. Conclui-se que a nutrição sistêmica é uma via promissora para a preservação auditiva, embora ensaios clínicos randomizados sejam necessários para consolidar diretrizes de dosagem.
