Abstract

This work presents a philosophical and symbolic reflection on virtue and ethics in Freemasonry, highlighting their relevance to the moral improvement of the individual and to the building of a more just and fraternal society. Based on the understanding that the Order is founded on the search for self-knowledge, the text discusses the role of the cardinal virtues, Masonic symbolism and ethics as a state of consciousness. It is emphasized that the practice of virtue goes beyond theory, constituting a life path that transforms the Freemason into a builder of himself and an agent of social transformation.
