This article aims to discuss the application of active methodologies in early childhood education, highlighting their relevance to the integral development of children. Grounded in pedagogical approaches such as constructivism and socio-interactionism, these methodologies place the child at the center of the learning process, valuing autonomy, creativity, and investigative capacity. Through the analysis of practices such as project-based learning, gamification, scientific inquiry, and active listening, the text demonstrates how these strategies align with the principles of the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and contribute to meaningful educational experiences. The role of the educator as a mediator, the importance of the physical environment, and the challenges and possibilities of implementing these practices in daily school life are also addressed. It is concluded that active methodologies represent a promising path toward a more democratic, sensitive, and transformative education from the earliest years of life.
