ACTIVE METHODOLOGIES IN EDUCATION: PATHS TOWARDS MEANINGFUL AND INCLUSIVE LEARNING

This article aims to analyze the importance of active methodologies in the school context, highlighting their benefits, challenges, and impacts on student learning. It is a basic bibliographic research with a qualitative approach, involving a systematic analysis of approximately 40 recent scientific publications on the subject. The results indicate that active methodologies promote student protagonism, increasing engagement, motivation, and the development of cognitive and socio-emotional skills. The application of these methodologies favors meaningful learning, inclusion, and personalized teaching, although their adoption faces barriers such as the need for teacher training and institutional structural limitations. Active methodologies are essential tools for pedagogical innovation and improving the quality of education, with future empirical studies recommended to deepen the investigation in different educational contexts.
